On the Edge of Gone

This is a fantasmagorical science fiction book set in the future. It's about a girl who has to go into a shelter to stay safe from a comet, which is coming towards earth at an incredible speed. When Denise's sister Iris starts running late, Denise starts worrying. Will they be at the shelter in time? Will the shelter protect them? Will the comet even hit earth? Then an unexpected visitor shows up and hurls them into the midst of a crazy adventure, full of mystery, action and water. Lots of water...
