An Abundance Of Katherines
CAUTION- MATURE SCENES WHICH MAY SCAR YOUNG READERS FOR LIFE! But you still should read it. Just don't say I didn't warn you!
Aha! I have John Greened you again! Because he is my favourite author!
And this book is really a full on romance. But it isn't only a romance. It's message is the life is better taken one step at a time, taking everything as it comes, and not trying to plan out your future.*
The characters are super realistic which serves to make the book even better because it's so believable. There's the out there guy who never has had a girlfriend, watches loads of TV, listens to his parents in is the main characters best friend. Then, there's the highly intelligent child who used to be a prodigy and now is disappointed because he isn't a prodigy any longer. You've got the gorgeous girl who doesn't realise how dumb her boyfriend is, the boyfriend who pretends to love his girlfriend.
Did I mention that literally all of them have depression?
I'd recommend this book to anyone aged 12+ because it does have some mature scenes and foul language. Sorry, everyone younger than me.

*When you plan your future, if you can't fulfil it and get STRESSED. Then, stress leads to one thing leads to another, and you are stuffed up.
I'm not joking you.
